Pre-Alert
Our quick message function allows lone workers to relay important information, where it can be viewed by managers and monitoring staff.
How our Pre-Alert works
Users leave extra information in case of a subsequent emergency. On the PG Smart App, this is a text box, and with the PG Pebble, users leave a voice memo.
They might give specific location details in a large building, make a note if they’re becoming unwell, or raise concerns over bad weather.
This information is then sent to the PG Cloud portal alongside the user’s location at the point of setting the Pre-Alert. This means if anything should happen, monitoring staff have this information available.
Encourages frequent interactions
If you have colleagues who are regularly working on their own, a Pre-Alert is a simple way for them to keep managers in the loop of any developing situation.
The Pre-Alert function comes as standard on all PG Smart apps, and is an option on the PG Pebble standalone device.
Provides vital context
The user’s role offers further insight alongside a Pre-Alert in an emergency, giving any responding services useful information so they know what to expect.
One example might be an SOS is raised after a fall is detected, the user works outside, and they had previously sent a Pre-Alert warning of slippery conditions.
Paramedics attending the scene will know where to go, what to expect in terms of injuries, and are forewarned to take care underfoot as they make their way to provide assistance.
